So my mom got the word that she will have the week off so we can definitely attend Worlds this year! Of course comes the issue of money... why can't everything in life be free?! I was thinking of ways I could gain sponsors and also support small etsy shops. Each year I wear a shirt during the whole week of competition that says how many worlds competitions I have been to on the front (for those wondering, this will be my 8th). I was thinking that on the back I can do a list of the shops that have sponsored my sister and I. We will both wear the shirts the whole week. This event has over 1,500 skaters each year and of course all their friends and family, so we would make a great walking billboard for your etsy store. We walk in a parade on Wednesday evening of competition week and will proudly be wearing our shirts with sponsors on the back! I would love any comments here about how much I should ask each sponsor to donate for a spot on my shirt, please let me know if you, or someone you know of may be interested!
In the meantime, check out the new cards I have listed in my etsy shop!
So as many of you know, I have been saving all the proceeds from my etsy store to help send my step sister Madison and I to Ice Skating Institute World Recreational Team Championships in July.
Madison is 6 and has only been ice skating for about 3 months. She loves it and has already passed her first test. She wants so badly to be able to attend worlds with me.
This is Madison all dressed up in her newest skating dress!
I began skating at worlds in 2006 in Anaheim, CA, I have since competed at worlds in chicago, boston(2 times), minneapolis, denver, and san jose. Worlds is a wonderful competition full of fun, friends and figure skating.
This is me at Worlds 2008 in Boston, MA.
Worlds is a wonderful place to make friends, here I am with two of my friends I have met at Worlds in previous years.
Please take the time to check out my etsy shop and see what I have to offer! Here is an example of something I offer for sale at my shop:
Recently I joined a new team on Etsy which is based on promotion, one of the owners is Shadow Jewels, she is not only a great team leader but the jewelry she makes is gorgeous! I was looking through her shop earlier today and any women would be thrilled to own the jewelry she creates! In fact, I plan to shop her for christmas gifts for some of the women in my family. Check out these gorgeous earrings!
Hi everyone, my name is Brittany, I am the owner of the Etsy store, Precious Bowtique. You can check out my store by following this link!
A little bit about Precious Bowtique, I opened on June 21st, 2009 with the intentions of only selling hair bows, hence the name "bowtique". Business was... less than booming so I removed my listings and stopped visiting etsy for quite some time. Last year I moved to Oregon for my second year of college and decided Etsy could be a good way to make some extra cash, especially since I am constantly crafting. I'm working on improving my etsy store so that I can sell to more people. This venture is less of a profit venture for me and more of just something fun to do.
I hope you will follow my blog as I will be promoting treasuries I am featured in as well as those I create on here. I will also post links to new items or cool etsy things that are worthy of checking out!
